I ordered the travel bag with my byAcre because Let's Roll Mobility was delivering my Overland to me at my son's, and I would be flying home transcontinentally. Thank goodness I did, and that I watched byAcre's video (linked above) a couple of times ahead of receiving them, and understood how to put the Overland in the bag, which I find easy to do.

Lay the bag out so the zipper is on the top, unzip, and open the top flap to the side. Lay the inner flap in the center out to the side, orient the walker so the rear wheels are in the bulbous end; lay it into the bag, then put the flap between the front wheels, fasten the velcro which holds the flap in place, and zip the bag. Easy peasy.

Unfortunately, everybody, including my husband, who had not watched the video, wanted to do it for me, didn't want to listen to the woman in the airport wheelchair (a good example of ableism), and not only did not find it easy, but still didn't want to listen to me. Eventually, I was able to get them to pay attention to what I was saying, and it went in smoothly and easily. So, just beware that anybody traveling with you should at least know that you do know the correct technique to put the walker in the bag, if not how to do it themselves. Better yet, ask them to watch and listen, then return demonstrate to you how it's done. I'd also suggest holding onto the bag until you've made it clear to any helpers that it's important that they listen to you and follow your directions because they're likely to struggle with it otherwise. My other tip is to hold the bagged rollator in your lap, partially between your legs when in a transport wheelchair.

All of that said, my Overland came through its two flights totally unscathed, in perfect condition, and I highly recommend getting the bag. It helps keep the rollator from opening, keeps it as compact as possible (good for the carrier, as well as you and your byAcre), protects the surface, and also makes it a lot easier to carry, either with the strap or without. (Note that it's easier to carry with the strap if you have the base toward the bottom, and helpers pick it up wrong side up.)

byACRE rollators aren't covered by insurance directly, but Let's Roll Mobility will work with our customers to reclaim the purchase from the insurance company (e.g., Medicare, Blue Cross, etc.). We then provide the customer with an official invoice suited for the insurance company. The customer then submits that to their insurance company for reimbursement/partial reimbursement (assuming the insurance company has agreed to cover it).

We do also accept Health Savings (HSA) and Flexible Savings Accounts (FSA) as payment.
