I am a proud new owner of a byACRE Carbon Overland rollator, which I purchased from Let's Roll Mobility. I have a condition called Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM), which has left me with severely weakened quadricep muscles. It has slowed my gait and caused balance issues. My wife urged me to get a rollator so that she wouldn't worry so much about me falling and really hurting myself.
I chose the Overland for extended walks and other adventures. And, believe me, I did my homework. I have had it for one month — and what a month it has been!
My first major outing was to use it at The Masters golf tournament, which I attended with my son. I am sorry that I don't have any photos, but they don't allow cameras — you'll just have to take my word for it. With my Overland, we were able to cover the entire course from one end to the other. It helped me navigate grass, pine straw, and tree roots, and what a luxury to have a place to sit and watch our favourite players up close. As you can imagine, it was a dream come true for both of us.
Next, I flew to Florida, where my wife and I embarked on a transatlantic cruise to Spain. And, speaking of flights, having the Overland to negotiate the Atlanta airport was a game-changer. I never felt exhausted or unsure. I breezed through security, got my gate-check pass, proceeded down the ramp, folded my rollator, and left it at the door to the aircraft, where it was whisked away into baggage storage. Upon arrival in Florida, I stood outside the doorway where it was returned to me, and up the ramp I rolled. Easy-peasy.

When we boarded our ship, I found that the Overland was just as much at home below deck as it was on deck. I noticed the envious glances from other passengers and even met three others who were also enjoying their byACRE rollators on board. In the cabin, the Overland folds neatly out of the way, even in tight quarters.
Halfway to Spain, we spent a day in port at Ponta Delgada in the Azores. This is where the Overland would be severely tested. Those who have travelled to Europe know that part of the charm of ancient cities is the cobblestone roads and walkways — centuries old, with intricate decorative designs. Yet, as beautiful as they are, they can be a challenge for those of us with walking and balance issues

Well, let me tell you, the Overland handled it all like a champ. I took it over bricks and ruts that, without it, would have been trip hazards and nearly impossible for me to negotiate on my own. That day, my wife and I strolled through the old town, toured botanical gardens, relaxed at a café, and shopped in the quainter shops. By the end of the day, our pedometers recorded over 12,000 steps — whew!

Honestly, I am so confident with my Overland — and it's actually fun. My six-year-old and two-year-old grandsons love it! It is just another example of how it pays to listen to my wife.
As a postscript, let me also give a positive testimonial for the team at Let's Roll Mobility. Their personal service gave me the confidence to make this purchase decision. I found them to be courteous and capable — a much better experience than ordering from a faceless website.
Thank you and cheers.
